The two Uniqa companies reported in Q1 a cumulated profile of 1.71 million euro in Romania
The Uniqa Asigurari and Uniqa Asigurari pe viata announced on last Monday that they registered in Q1 a cumulated profile of 1.71 million euro in Romania and in total, they closed the first part of the year with gross subscribed premiums at the level of 48.6 million euro.
‘In total, the two Uniqa companies closed the first quarter of 2019 with gross subscribed premiums at the level of 48.6 million euro. The main contributors were the profitable sectors of the insurance portfolio which generated such a growth of almost 10% against the results of the same interval of last year, the companies registering cumulated profit situated at the level of 1.71 million euro’ the press release says.
Uniqa asigurari reported in Q1 of 2019 a growth of 21% on the sector of non-auto insurances as compared to the same period of the previous year, registering gross subscribed premiums worth 16.2 million euro, according to IFRS.
Uniqa asigurari pe viata closed the first six months of the year with an advanced of over 20% of sale of traditional products, while the sales for the sector of insurance with single premium were at the same level as the similar period of the previous year, registering gross subscribed premiums worth 9.2 milion euro, according to IFRS.
The auto sector, the sales volume was 13 percentage points under the one registered in Q1 of the previous year.

In their turn, the representatives of Uniqa asigurari de viata say that life insurance is an important engine for growth for the brand in Romania.
Similarly, in Q1 Uniqa announces that they took the first steps in the direction of the development of solutions type ‘ end to end’.
As regards the evolution of claims, in the Q1 Uniqa asigurari and Uniqa asigurari de viata registered a total number of 149 claims, similarly to the one registered during the same period of the previous year.
