Infrastructure : Romania- Hungary discuss project of building road infrastructure for high speed train

The project of building railway infrastructure for a high speed train connecting Bucharest and Budapest was on the agenda of consultations held between Dragos Tintea, secretary of state in the Ministry of Transports and a Hungarian delegation headed by Laszlo Mosoczi, secretary of state in the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.

The agenda of the meeting included transport infrastructure projects of interest for both parties, such as building railway infrastructure for high speed trains connecting the two capital cities, Bucharest and Budapest.

“Romanian and Hungarian representatives decided to sign a collaboration document at ministry level about the feasibility study for building a high speed railway between Bucharest and Budapest, as well as carrying on talks at expert level on the project,” a press release of the Transport Ministry shows.
