USL will present a censure motion
Social Liberal Union (USL- opposition) will present a censure motion, following the Government’s assumption of accountability on the draft law of the Code of Work, announced on Monday the PNL chairman Crin Antonescu, co-chairman of the USL. « This is censure motion referring to the Code of Work is a special one, taking into consideration that it will express not only our opposition a MPs, the political parties in the Romanian opposition but this time, officially much more. I think that, taking into consideration that we talk about the Code of Work, the support for this censure motion on the part of all the big trade unions in Romania and almost everybody, in any case of four of the five confederations tell a lot. It is a censure motion we present in the name of a significant part of the Romanian society, both for employers and employees » Crin Antonescu said at the end of the reunion of USL leadership.
Antonescu added that USL representatives started to draw up the censure motion, mentioning that on the part of the Alianta de Centru Dreapta there will be liberal MPs Marian Campeanu and Victor Paul Dobre and the conservative Dumitru Pelican. The PNL leader announced that USL will present their own draft for the Code of Work « which was agreed by trade unions and employers’ associations ».
