The ministry of finances has programmed loans of over four billion lei in August 2021

The ministry of finances (MF) has planned, in August 2021, loans from the commercial banks of 3.7 billion lei, out of which 1.3 billion lei in two issues of stock certificates with discount and 2.4 billion lei through seven issues of sovereign bonds.

The sum of 360 million lei through supplementary sessions of non-competitive offers, belonging to bonds bids.

The total sum, of 4.06 billion lei is by 1.205 billion lei under the one programmed for July 2021 (5.265 billion lei) and will be destined to the refinancing of the public debt and the financing of the state budget deficit.

According to the prospect, MF programmed for 5th August the first issue of discount certificates, worth 600 million lei, with maturity on 26th January 2022 and on 26th August the second one, worth 700 million lei, with maturity on 27th July 2022.

Similarly, during the month, seven issues of benchmark bonds will be launched, worth 2.4 billion lei, followed the second day by a supplementary issue of non-competitive offers, worth 15% of the initial value of the bonds issue (360 million lei in total).

The issues will be 400 million lei (four issues), 300 million lei (two issues) and 200 million lei (one issue).
