The leu went up against  the euro and the American dollar on Friday

The national currency went up on Friday against the euro, which was calculated by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) at 4.9198 lei, down by 0.11 bani (-0.02%) against the previous rate, of 4.9209 lei.

At the same time, the leu went up against the American dollar which was calculated at 4.1348 lei, down by 0.95 bani (-0.23%) as compared to Thursday, when it was 4.1443 lei.

In exchange, the national currency went down against the Swiss Franc, calculated by BNR at 4.5704 lei, up by 0.96 bani (+0.21%) against 4.5608 lei, the previous rate.

The gold gram went dearer, on Friday by 52.86 bani (+0.2%) up to the value of 243.12 lei, from 242.5914 lei in the previous session.
