Six towns in the competition for Youth Capital in Romania 2023

Six towns – Craiova, Satu Mare, Targu- Jiu, Targu Neamt, Targu Secuiesc and Vaslui- applied for the title of Youth Capital in Romania, 2023 edition.

 

The 6th edition of Youth Capital in Romania brings six towns that have applied for the title of Youth Capital in Romania, 2023 edition. Craiova, Satu Mare, Targu Jiu, Targu Neamt, Targu Secuiesc and Vaslui are the towns that want to turn their outlooks into concrete development projects with the active participation of young people,” a press release of the Youth Council of Romania informs.

 

According to the source quoted, based on evaluations, two or three towns will be nominated to develop an extensive candidacy in the second round of the competition.

Initiators will announce the finalists for Youth Capital 2023 on August 30, 2021 and will publish the Call for Round II of the competition on the same day, and on October 9, the Youth Capital of Romania , 2023 edition will be appointed at the Youth Gala.

 

The Youth Capital of Romania is a frame program for youth, created at national level, which functions on principles similar with those of the European Youth Capital  ( www.europeanyouthcapital.org). The program allows youth organizations to promote important topics for the social category they represent and help local authorities to identify problems and attract public and private investments to solve them and develop support ecosystems.
