Romania Sells EUR1.3B 3-Year Bonds At 4.8% Average Yield

Romania's Finance Ministry on Thursday sold three-year foreign currency bonds worth EUR1.3 billion, above the planned amount, at an average yield of 4.8% a year. The ministry planned to sell debt worth EUR1 billion at Thursday's auction. The issue carries a coupon of 4.5% a year. Romania has to repay EUR1.4 billion in one-year treasury bills due November 29.
