PM Ciolacu, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State O'Brien discuss deepening Strategic Partnership

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu met on Tuesday at the Victoria Palace of Government with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien, with the talks focusing on the progress made in taking further the Romania - U.S. Strategic Partnership in the areas of security, economy and Visa Waiver.

"Delighted to meet U.S. @StateEUR Assistant Secretary James O'Brien and discuss the substantial progress achieved in deepening the Romania - U.S. Strategic Partnership in the security & economic & Visa Waiver fields," Ciolacu wrote on X.

The prime minister added that during the meeting, the senior American official expressed his appreciation for the "close cooperation" with the Romanian government.
