Nine out of ten Romanians believe that innovation makes their lives easier

Innovation makes Romanians' lives easier (93%) and helps them feel safe (84%). 

Young people between the ages of 25 and 34 believe that innovation plays an important role in protecting the environment (88%) and also contributes to a healthier lifestyle (81%).

7 out of 10 Romanians would trust the most innovative and sustainable masonry material.

 

Reveal Marketing Research conducted a study on the perception of Romanians regarding innovation and modernity. In a pandemic context, where security turns into a basic need, analyzing people's behavioral changes becomes essential. This study aims to provide a real picture of current views on modern solutions.

 

Perception of the Benefits of Innovation/Modernity

 

Respondents who participated in this study agree that innovation/modernity mainly makes their lives easier (93%), helps them feel safe (84%) and to save money (82%).

 

Also, other benefits mentioned by Romanians were the protection of the environment (82%) and the possibility of a healthier life (77%). 

 

Innovation and Safety Indoors - 8 out of 10 Romanians Associate Innovation/Modernity with the Idea of Ssafety

 

Safety in one's own home is given by the age of the building (85%), location (82%) and construction materials (84%) and for 7 out of 10 Romanians, the most innovative and most sustainable masonry material is yet another reason for safety. When Romanians want a modern and safe home, 45% of the specialists recommend the use of AAC as the main masonry material. On the 2nd place among the specialists' recommendations are the bricks with a total of 31% and on the 3rd place the concrete vaults - with only 8% of the specialists recommending this material.

 

By gender, men consider to a greater extent that innovation/modernity offers them the opportunity to live healthier (82%) and save money (76%).

 

With regard to age groups, compared to the total sample analyzed, there is a higher proportion of young people aged between 25 and 34 who agree with the idea that innovation has an important role to play in protecting the environment (88%) and it also contributes to a healthier lifestyle (81%).

  • on a nationally representative sample (urban and rural), 820 interviews + Margin of error is +/- 3%. Confidence level: 95%.

  • a sample of construction specialists (real estate developers, architects, structural engineers, skilled workers) consisting of 510 respondents.
