Netherlands Block Romania, Bulgaria From Schengen Accession

Late Friday night the Dutch government decided it will veto Bulgaria and Romania's Schengen accession in 2011, and will prevent any decision by the Council of the EU on the Balkan countries' applications by 2012.The position of the governments of Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland is said to be similar to that of the Netherlands.
