Finance Ministry sells treasury bills worth 1.04bln lei

The Finance Ministry drew on Monday over 1.04 billion lei by an issue of treasury bills with discount, put up for auction through the National Bank of Romania (BNR). The treasury bonds are due in 6 months and the average yield the issue was bought for is 9.97 percent. The moderate average yield of the rate of discount was of 9.49 percent. The overall value of the issue was of 900 million lei and the overall demand by the 13 banks that participated in the auction was of 1.827 billion lei. ...
