Finance ministry sells T-bonds worth 556.6 M lei

The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) attracted on Monday 556.598 million lei (about 129.441 million euros - editor's note) through issuing state T-bonds at a discount, put up for auction through Romania's Central Bank (BNR).The T-bonds are due back one year later, and the issue was sold at a 10.99 percent average yield, while the average temperate discount rate amounted to 10.98 percent.The issue grossed 1 billion lei, and the demand of the 13 auctioning banks totaled 1.482 billion lei.According to the regulations in force, MFP rejected the lodged buy offers exceeding a yield of 11 percent.
