EBRD financed branches of 3 Greek banks with 335 million euro

The European Bank for reconstruction and Development granted several credit lines for subsidies of Greek banks in several states, among which in Romania. Bank Post, Piraeus Bank Romania and Alpha Bank Romania benefitted from credit lines of 235 million euro.Thus EBRD will grant Piraeus Bank Romania a credit line of 90 million euro, funds meant to finance economic activities carried out by companies in Romania.

The loan will be laid at the bank’s disposal in two equal installments and is part of a more ample financing accord which includes credit lines of 200 million euro and involves Piraeus subsidies of Albania and Bulgaria.

EBRD has also signed three financing lines of 230 million euro for subsidies of Eurobank EFG in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia with a view to granting loans to private enterprises in the three states.
Bancpost will receiver 95 million euro, Eurobank Bulgaria 75 million euro and Eurobank EFG Beograd 60 million euro.EBRD signed two credit lines of 200 million euro with subsidies Alpha Bank Group in Romania and Serbia. Within the new ERBD financing Alpha Bank Romania will receive 150 million euro and Alpha Bank Serbia 50 million euro.
