Bistrita – the city of old art, over August6-8

Old music, Renaissance dances, handicraft will be present in Bistrita over August 6-8.

The old art festival, an event organized by Medieval Bistrita Cultural Association, in partnership with Product Association In Bistrita Nasaud, Bistrita Nasaud Museum Complex, Concert Society Foundation and co-financed from public funds allocated for non profit activities of general interest by Bistrita Town hall will take place these days.

 

Festival organizers prepared an attractive program meant to recreate the atmosphere of hundreds of centuries ago. The audience will enjoy three old music concerts with Nicolae Szekely playing Renaissance lute, archlute and Baroque guitar, Norbert Tottosy woth organ music, the recital of Huniai Cantores group held in the municipal park gazebo and Nosa dance group will animate the old center and the central park in Bistrita.

 

The varnishing of the first personal painting exhibition by Silvia Togorean and creative workshops from Argintarului House enrich the beautiful arts represented at the festival, so that handicrafts men and Produs artisans in Bistrita Nasaud could bring a plus of color and joy to the city.

 

Events can be watched live or recorded, on the Facebook page of the event. Participants will have to observe measures in force for the prevention of Covid 19 spreading.
