Green light for 14 energy projects

Green light for 14 energy projects The ministry of economy, commerce and business environment signed the financing contracts for the 14 projects approved with the requirements of the sectorial operational programme “ Increase of economic competitivity” projects worth 612 million lei and which aim at renewable energy.
« The 14 projects have a total value of approximately 612 million lei, out of which nonrefundable financing of almost 261 million lei. The installed power for the projects is approximately 50.2 MWe – electrical power and almost 35 MWt thermal power” according to a press release.

The projects aim at putting to value the energy resources for the production of green energy and include the rehabilitation and retechnologisation of micro-power plants, building power stations with co-generation, wind turbines, energy sustainability through alternative sources in public institutions.
The projects corresponding to 4.2 operation “ the support of investments in the modernization and making of production capacities for electricity and thermal energy, through the putting to value of renewable energy resources; biomass, hydro-energy resources ( in units with installed power smaller or equal to 10MW), solar, wind, biofuel, geothermal resources and other renewable resources” from the sectorial operational programme “ The increase of economic competitiveness”.
