Romanian companies to file in tax returns in e-format as from October 1
Romania's large and medium-sized companies will file in their tax returns in an electronic format as from October 1, under the National Electronic System, the Ministry of Communications and information Society (MCSI) reports.
'MCSI and the National Tax Administration Agency are cooperating in order to allow the filing in of tax returns by large and medium-sized taxpayers in an electronic format. Likewise, the two public organisations will be preparing the system for the on-line filing of the uniform social security returns. The action starts on October 1, 2010 by the large and medium-sized companies filing under the SEN their electronic tax returns,' the ministry reports.
According to Agerpres, over 30,000 taxpayers are thus offered the possibility to replace physical counters with virtual counters starting October 1.
Once the order signed by the ANAF chairman is published with the Official Gazette, the large and medium-sized companies choosing to file in the electronic tax returns will have to register their forms and approved electronic signatures, the ministry explains.
