Some tens of people gathered on Wednesday in the Universitate Place, despite the unfavourable weather, as it snowed heavily, the wind was blowing and it was very cold. They shouted slogans against president Traian Basescu whose resignation they required and against the government. In the square there was also Petre Roman who was booed by some of the protesters. The former prime minister said that the statement made on Tuesday night by president Traian Basescu was « wrong ». Hundreds of people protested on Wednesday in spite of the snow and the cold for the 13th day in a row, in several cities of Romania.
