Government's meeting in Iasi

Prime Minister Emil Boc announced on Wednesday before the Government's sitting, the first in held in Iasi (eastern Romania), that the meeting's agenda schedules 14 draft normative acts aimed at the issues regarding Iasi city and Moldavia (eastern Romanian province). PM Boc pointed out that the presence of the Cabinet's members in Iasi also meant signing agreements on financing, totaling 185 million euros, from the EU and the environment funds. The Romanian Government has no plans for a budget revision in April, Prime Minister Emil Boc said Wednesday.Speaking in a press conference, Boc said the government isn't considering a budget revision for now."We have no intention to amend the budget. We don't prepare a revision at the moment," Boc said.
Romanian Gov't approves 100-million-euro grant for Moldova
The Romanian Government on Wednesday approved a memorandum concerning a 100-million-euro grant to the Republic of Moldova, at its meeting in Iasi, eastern Romania.The ministries concenred are expected to make the grant operational in the period immediately ahead, Prime Minister Boc said, adding that the amount will be paid out in four years.
